§ 01

The brands, products, and cases are outputs of the system. They are produced by it — they are not the source of its value.

Most organizations conflate outcomes with systems. They study successful companies and copy surface traits without the decision logic that produced them. Indicio explicitly avoids that trap by focusing on the machine itself.

Company model
§ 02

We build companies. Not pitch decks, not incubators, not advisory boards. Real companies, in generations, from a shared machine.

A generation is defined by the underlying machine — the software, structure, and methods that produce companies. Each generation refines that machine and expands what it can reliably build. The companies are outputs; the machine is the asset.

2 live cases

The first machine is being proven on two cases. The goal is not scale yet; it is to discover which parts of the system are fragile and which are repeatable.

Once the two cases have been absorbed, the machine is upgraded. The same structure then produces an expanded portfolio without rebuilding the process from scratch.

Optimizes for
§ 1.3

Four objectives, deliberately ranked.

01

Speed of correct decisions

Reach sufficiently accurate decisions faster than competitors. Delayed decisions are treated as a cost.

02

Capital efficiency

Every action is judged by the learning or value produced per unit of capital and time. Attention counts as capital.

03

Asymmetric upside

Built to exploit power-law outcomes. Resources are intentionally uneven once signals appear.

04

Controlled downside

Losses are limited by early kill-switches and strict constraints. Failure should be cheap and informative.

§ 8.5 · Anomaly-first

Averages hide opportunity. Decision energy is reserved for deviations from the baseline.

The system spends less time asking is this good and more time asking why did this behave differently than expected, is it repeatable, and can it be amplified.

§ 1.4 · Explicit rejections

The system rejects long planning cycles, consensus-driven decisions, equal treatment of unequal projects, storytelling as substitute for evidence, and architect-dependency as a growth model.
